Integrations
Choose the right StreetKit setup
StreetKit integrations are built around the browser widget. HTML and JavaScript are available now; framework and no-code pages show thin guide patterns; WooCommerce is a controlled beta preview. Shopify checkout work is a private Shopify Plus prototype scaffold only, with no public install path.
Integration options
window.StreetKit with refs and cleanup.
Status labels
- available
- The current browser widget supports this integration path today.
- guide
- Use the current widget with the documented pattern; there is no maintained package or platform app.
- beta preview
- A package exists for controlled testing, but it is not production-tested or marketplace-listed.
- planned
- Future work that needs a separate design and QA pass before public use.
Focused integration guides
Common integration rules
- Use the hosted widget assets or self-host the same browser bundle; do not invent a server-side autocomplete API.
- StreetKit must never block checkout; keep manual address entry available if StreetKit assets or address data fail to load.
- Map only explicit address fields that the host form owner chooses.
- Do not send names, emails, phone numbers, cart data, order IDs, payment data, or whole form payloads to StreetKit.
- Do not describe StreetKit as NZ Post certified, courier certified, DPID support, PO Box support, Private Bag support, postal verification, or delivery verification.
Public and registered access
Public mode is useful for evaluation and community use. For a production site that needs better soft traffic classification, use the current request site ID page to check the intake path and current status.
A siteId is public. It is not a secret, API key,
bearer token, proof of ownership, or hard quota control.
Shopify Plus
prototype only A private Shopify Plus checkout prototype scaffold exists, but StreetKit does not offer public or production Shopify checkout support. Production claims require completed Plus-capable store QA, protected customer data approval where required, privacy and operations review, and release evidence.
- Shopify checkout autocomplete is Shopify Plus-only unless later official platform research proves a supported non-Plus path.
- Storefront forms outside Shopify checkout are separate; they may use the normal browser widget only where the merchant controls the page and the form is not Shopify checkout.
- Do not use Shopify ScriptTag, theme snippets, theme app embeds, checkout DOM scripting, hidden fields, or generic script-tag checkout installation for Shopify checkout.
- Manual Shopify address entry must remain available when StreetKit is disabled, unavailable, slow, unconfigured, or returns no suggestions.
Shopify Plus merchants interested in private prototype testing can contact StreetKit. There is no public Shopify app or install page.
